Calling all CM SENIORS–Cap & Gown Walk

On Tuesday, May 31st at 1:30 PM, all seniors who attended Central Manor Elementary School are invited to visit Central Manor wearing their cap and gown.  It is such an inspiration to our elementary students to see the result of working hard all through school.  If you know someone who attended Central Manor Elementary and is graduating this year, please pass along this information.  If they can RSVP to let us know they will be coming, that would give us an idea of how many to expect; however, it is not a requirement.  Graduates can call the Central Manor office at 717-872-1401 or email Mrs. Suydam at We are looking forward to seeing all our Central Manor graduates so we can help to celebrate your accomplishment. Graduates will gather in the front of the building.

Lunch and Learn Returns

Today was a very exciting day at Central Manor! It was the return of our preschool initiative, Lunch & Learn. We hosted 20 preschoolers and their families. Students had an opportunity to enjoy the library, visit a kindergarten room to listen to a story and participate in an activity, and enjoy a bagged lunch from our cafeteria. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces!

Mrs. Flores, one of our reading specialists, shared a few reading tips for the parents.
