September – Welcome back to school!
December – Happy Holidays!
Current volunteer opportunities:
Mileage Club – Every other Tuesday, September – Thanksgiving break from 11:30-1 PM, OR every other Thursday, September – Thanksgiving break from 11:30-1 PM. Record laps as students run or walk 1/4 mile path around the playground during lunch recess. It’s fun to sign up with a partner!
Central Manor Miles – This wildly popular “FUNdraiser” is returning to Central Manor for the 3rd time, on October 25. (Rain date, 10/28). We will need help with photocopying, buying supplies, mailings, and set up on the morning of the event. Join us on the stage for as long as you can on Friday, September 6th for a work session of paperwork and labeling folders! Also, another date to save is October 3 & 4 from 9-Noon (or for any amount of time you can provide) to help fold, seal and place stamps on the thousands of letters our students will be mailing to potential sponsors.
Look for a PTO “Ways To Help” form to come home with your child in September. Check off where you are interested in helping, and we’ll be sure to contact you with details as we begin to plan that event.
