PTO Volunteer Opportunities – Join us!

Our box top Queen, Allison Schucker, will be at Central Manor tomorrow, (October 23rd), trimming box tops.  Sign in at the office and get directions to the conference room to join in on the fun.  This is a “bring your own scissors” event.  Come out and get to know other parents while helping to raise money for Central Manor!  We earn 10 cents for every Box Top that we trim and redeem.  If you can’t join us at school, you can still help from home!  Keep collecting box tops for our “Box Tops Blitz” classroom contest in January, and be sure to trim all of your box tops around the dotted line before sending them in to school.

The Central Manor book fair is right around the corner.  Parent volunteers are needed to help with book fair set up, and to help the students shop.  Contact our awesome chairperson, Tracy Musser (587 – 0729), if you would like to be added to the volunteer schedule.

*Thursday, November  7 – Sort through & inventory book carts (beginning at Noon, with Tracy’s help)

*Friday, November 8 – Continue to help sort through book carts and set up for teacher preview. (with Tracy’s help)

*Tuesday, November 12 – Friday, November 15 –  Help students shop for books and run cash register.  (training provided, you will not be working alone)

We are looking for some parents to shadow Tracy for a few hours during the fall book fair.  Tracy’s kids will both be CM graduates next year, so this is her last year as the chairperson.  We won’t be able to run next year’s book fair without a few parent volunteers to take on the role of chairperson together.  Training is provided as well as lots of smiles and thanks from the kids as they shop for their books!  Don’t hesitate to contact Tracy for more information about this fun volunteer position.
