No dues shall be required for membership and members shall be eligible to participate in business meetings and/or serve in any of the elected or appointed positions.

General Membership Meetings

The PTO by-laws require that meetings be held at least 4 times per school year beginning in September and held throughout the school year. The budget is approved at the first meeting of the year and the election of officers for the next school year are held at the last meeting of the year. When school is closed due to inclement weather, meetings are to be considered canceled.

Volunteer Information

The Penn Manor School District welcomes and values volunteer participation in our schools. To ensure the safety of our students, volunteers must comply with the School Board Policies. The policy established requirements and procedures to confirm that school volunteers are in compliance with the provisions of Act 153 of 22014, which amended the PA Child Protective Services Law. The law requires unpaid volinteers who will have direct contact with children to obtain background clearances before commencing services as a volunteer. For more information, please see the Penn Manor District volunteer website page.
